The tour starts outside the Naples Cathedral, which holds one of the world’s most important treasures, the Treasure of San Gennaro, the city’s patron saint. From there, the tour continues through the historic center, “Spaccanapoli,” where everything changes. You’ll hear the voices of passersby and smell the delicious aromas of Neapolitan cuisine, leading you to Via San Gregorio Armeno, the most famous street where Christmas spirit lives all year round thanks to the tradition and culture of Nativity art.
At the end of Via San Gregorio Armeno, you’ll reach Via dei Tribunali, where you will see skulls outside the Church of the Souls in Purgatory and meet Pulcinella, one of Naples’ iconic characters.
The tour ends at Piazza del Gesù Nuovo, where you can admire the Gothic style and unique stonework of the two landmark churches, the Church of Gesù Nuovo and the Monastery of Santa Chiara.
